Job summary

Ocean Park Corporation is seeking a Stage Manager/Assistant Event Supervisor to oversee theatre and seasonal events in Hong Kong. The role involves supervising stage shows, creating cue scripts, coordinating event staff, and ensuring show quality and safety.

Responsibilities include developing event operation manuals, planning manpower, liaising with directors and designers, and coordinating maintenance such as lighting and sound.

Qualifications

• Degree in Theatrical or Event Management (HKAPA) is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supervision experience or similar roles in theater/entertainment.
• Familiarity with the Park's festival events and standards is advantageous.
• Knowledge of tools for decorations, repairs and uninstalling is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stage shows or attractions during seasonal events.
• Create and call show cue scripts as Stage Manager.
• Oversee event assistants in operating stage shows or attractions.
• Develop operation manuals for individual seasonal events.
• Plan and manage manpower for stage shows or attractions.
• Liaise with director(s), choreographer(s), designer(s), performer(s) and technician(s).
• Coordinate maintenance activities such as rehearsals, lighting, audio calls, and on-site training.
