Job summary

OKX in Singapore is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Trading Service. You will own architectural direction for core trading components, drive ultra‑low latency, high‑throughput systems, and mentor teams across multiple groups.

The role demands expert C++ and Java performance, deep systems knowledge, and a track record of leading large‑scale distributed platforms in financial markets. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions,

Qualifications

Expert-level C++ with memory management and lock-free concurrency.
10+ years designing and operating ultra-low latency distributed systems in Java.
Expert in Java performance, JVM internals, GC tuning, and concurrency.
Proven technical leader or architect for major system components.
Deep understanding of networking, Linux, databases, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

Define and own long-term architecture for core trading components.
Lead cross-team technical projects spanning multiple groups.
Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks, optimize latency and throughput.
Be the technical authority for core trading systems and mentor engineers.
Stay current with industry trends and propose innovative solutions.
