Job summary

Siemens in Hong Kong and Macao seeks a Senior Sales Engineer/Assistant Sales Manager/Sales Manager for Digital Industries. You will lead sales efforts, develop market strategies, and drive growth across critical sectors such as Building Automation, HVAC, and data centers.

Ideal candidates hold a higher diploma or above in electrical engineering with 3–8 years in automation or drive technology sales or technical roles, and are fluent in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin a bonus.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in electrical engineering or related disciplines.
• 3-8 years of experience in automation / drive technology markets (technical or sales role).
• Product knowledge of automation systems or drive systems (VSD and motor) or digital technology.
• Experience in sales function and project bidding; ability to meet sales quota.
• Strong teamwork with good communication skills, motivation, and willingness to learn and grow.
• Understand and present Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation.
• Familiar with HK/Macao vertical industries (Building Automation, HVAC, Water & Waste Water, Food & Beverage, Power, Data center, Pump and Fan applications).
• High proficiency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to drive growth.
• Achieve sales targets with planned volumes and potential customers in HK and Macao.
• Implement value selling and project-type business processes.
• Identify customer pain points and propose solutions aligning with portfolio (Digital twin, IoT, 5G, Cloud).
• Provide accurate customer and project information via CRM for forecasts and planning; complete sales and revenue reporting.
• Analyze market conditions and build market ecosystem.
• Contribute to development of service market business in the region.
• Visit customers and participate in seminars to build relationships and promote key projects.
