The Senior Retail Systems Technical Specialist will take ownership of the administration, delivery, and production support of Retail IT systems across APAC. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous enhancement of retail platforms, with a strong focus on Oracle POS and retail back‑office systems, supporting both project deployments and live operations.

• Act as a regional technical lead for Retail IT solutions, providing hands‑on support across project implementations, rollouts, and BAU operations
• Partner closely with Global and APAC project teams to plan and execute retail system deployments, upgrades, and enhancements
• Provide subject matter expertise on Oracle POS and other related retail technologies, advising on best practices and technical design decisions
• Manage and coordinate third‑party vendors and deployment partners, ensuring delivery quality, technical standards, and effective knowledge transfer
• Own incident, problem, and change management for retail systems, including root‑cause analysis and long‑term remediation
• Lead troubleshooting activities across POS, back‑office, interfaces, and store infrastructure, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards for regional use
• Collaborate with regional and global support teams to prioritise and resolve critical retail incidents, minimising store and business impact
• Proactively review system performance, capacity, and stability, identifying improvement opportunities across tools, processes, and architecture
• Support store technology environments, including hardware configuration, break/fix activities, and POS peripherals when necessary
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of retail technologies to drive continuous improvement and system resilience

• Degree or industry‑recognised IT qualification (e.g. MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent experience)
• Experience with enterprise retail platforms such as Oracle, Epicor, or Omnico is highly desirable
• Proven experience in a senior retail IT support or systems specialist role within a global retail organisation
• Strong, hands‑on experience with Oracle POS / Oracle Retail systems (or equivalent enterprise POS platforms)
• Solid understanding of Retail Back Office functions, store operations, and end‑to‑end retail workflows
• Strong technical knowledge across Windows platforms, retail store infrastructure, and POS environments
• Working knowledge of SQL for basic queries, troubleshooting, and data validation
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts relevant to retail store environments
• Experience supporting multi‑country, multi‑time‑zone operations, with a customer‑facing mindset
• Able to manage workload independently, prioritise incidents, and meet deployment deadlines
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users
• Comfortable making technical assessments, proposing solutions, and providing workaround options when needed
