Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics or related field with research experience.
• Bachelor's degree for Research Assistant I role.
• Publication experience is advantageous.
• Strong quantitative skills with knowledge of statistical analysis using R.
• Familiarity with Python (Flask or FastAPI), Svelte, JavaScript/Node.js, or Gradio is a distinct advantage.
• Foundation in machine learning libraries and deploying local LLMs using inference tools.
• Good command of English and Cantonese (written and spoken).
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a research project titled with ASAP to detect psychosocial distress in youths.
• Perform research duties as assigned by the principal investigator and collaborate with the team.
• Conduct quantitative analyses and contribute to publication activities.
• Work independently under pressure and communicate in English and Chinese.
