Job summary

The University of Hong Kong’s Department of Psychiatry invites applications for Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Clinical Medicine. The appointment will commence as soon as possible for one year, with renewal subject to funding and satisfactory performance.

Under Professor Heidi Lo, you will conduct advanced data analyses, support research activities, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Biostatistics or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analyses and support research activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work on large-scale electronic health record studies related to depression and physical health, using Cox models, longitudinal life-course analysis and propensity score matching.
