Job summary

China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd, a leading property developer in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced cost professional to lead budgeting, cost planning, and post-contract administration for large-scale projects. You will manage consultants and contractors selection, oversee procurement, and conduct detailed cost estimation for bids and variations.

10-15 years' experience and professional MRICS/MHKIS are required. Fluency in English and Chinese is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying or equivalent.
• MHKIS or MRICS is a must.
• 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in property developer, consultancy firm or main contractor.

Responsibilities

• Formulate comprehensive budget and cost plan for the property development project, ensuring accurate estimation and management of construction cost.
• Participate in the selection and appointment of consultants and contractors.
• Manage the procurement process for supplies and subletting of contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards are met.
• Conduct detailed estimation and analysis of construction costs for land bids, subcontracting, variation works, and minor/maintenance projects, optimizing cost efficiency and accuracy.
• Responsible for post-contract administration, including measurement of work, verifying interim payments and overseeing final account settlements.
