Job summary

ATAL Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor – Lift & Escalator in Hong Kong to lead cost control, budgeting and contractual documentation for major lift projects. You will review correspondence, provide responses on contractual matters to safeguard interests, record claims and variations, and ensure timely payment submissions and assessments with accuracy.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, with 8+ years of contract administration

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years experience in contract administration, lifts/escalators a plus.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication and presentation skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer project cost control, budgeting, and contractual documentation.
• Review correspondence and advise on contractual responses.
• Record claims, variations orders, payment submissions and assessments.

Review of correspondence and give advice on responses regarding contractual matters to safeguard company’s interests.

Record the claim & VO & payment submissions & assessments.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or related disciplines.


• At least 8 years relevant working experiences in contract administration, experience on Lift and Escalator’s project is a plus.


• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work independently.


• Strong time management and organisation skills to meet deadlines.


• Good analytic, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.


• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
