ATAL Engineering Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (E&M Project) to manage contract administration, cost control and tender analysis for multi-disciplinary E&M projects. You will review contractual correspondence, monitor progress, assess delays and risks, and liaise with clients and suppliers.

English and Chinese proficiency is required, and experienced candidates will be considered for senior level.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or related disciplines.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in contract administration of building/multi-disciplinary E&M projects.
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Aufgaben

• Assist in handling contractual and commercial matters of multi-discipline E&M projects and tenders.
• Review correspondence and advise on responses regarding contractual matters.
• Periodically review project progress, advise on delays and highlight risks.
• Liaise with external and internal parties on contractual matters.
• Assist Senior Facility Manager and provide professional QS advice to FM team and client.
• Handle pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
• Perform tender analysis and bidding, document administration, take-off, pricing, measurement, valuation of variations.
• Prepare cost estimations, subletting, extension of time claims, certificates of payment and variations.
• Prepare early warning notices and compensation events under NEC requirements.
• Maintain detailed, auditable records of works and submissions within timelines.
• Measure and value sub-contracts and assist with sub‑contract final accounts.
• Review documentation to identify value variations and sub-contract liabilities.

Senior Quantity Surveyor (E&M Project) (REF. SPW – QS)

Assist in handling contractual and commercial matters of multi-discipline E&M projects and tenders.

Review correspondence and give advice on responses regarding contractual matters.

Perform periodic review on progress of projects, give advice on potential delays and highlight risk factors.

Liaise with external and internal parties on contractual matters.

Assist Senior Facility Manager and provide professional advice to FM team and client on QS matter.

Handle all the pre- & post-contract stages quantity surveying duties.

Handle tender analysis and bidding, tender document administration, material taking off and pricing, measurement of works, valuation of variation etc.

Prepare cost estimation, subletting, extension of time claim, certifying payment and variation and final account settlement.

Preparation, costing and submission of early warning and compensation event notification in line with NEC contract requirements.

Ensure detailed records of works are recorded and maintained, that are accurate and auditable and available for submission as required in timeline manner.

Measure and value sub-contracts and assist in agreement of sub-contract interim/ final accounts.

Review documentation and identify value variations, subcontract payments and preparation of sub-contract liabilities.
