Role Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site position based in Hong Kong SAR. This role is responsible for managing all cost and contract aspects of projects, including preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), developing cost plans, and monitoring budgets throughout the project life cycle. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost control procedures, review and validate contractor claims, and produce regular cost reports for internal and external stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with design and construction teams, supporting procurement decisions, evaluating tenders, and ensuring that project expenditures align with financial targets. The role also involves advising on value engineering opportunities and contributing to continuous improvement of commercial and cost management practices.

• Proficiency in preparing and managing BOQ and cost planning documents for construction and fit-out projects.
• Experience in cost reporting, including preparation of periodic financial updates and final account reports.
• Solid understanding of contracts, tendering, and procurement processes within the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline; professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, HKIS) is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in a senior quantity surveying or cost management role, preferably within architectural or design-led projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with capacity to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard QS software and MS Office; familiarity with BIM or digital cost tools is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Hong Kong SAR and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
