Job summary

Johnson Electric Group is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance leader for its JiangMen operation. You will head the plant quality team, drive daily QA on the shop floor, and coordinate rapid containment and corrective actions for non-conformances.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing QA, expertise in APQP/PPAP and quality tools, and strong English/Chinese communication. You will support continuous improvement, eight D problem solving, and NPI activities in a global manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and FMEA.
• Experienced in problem solving and continuous improvement tools (8D, 5-Why, DOE, Six Sigma).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and process technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant quality team for daily shop floor quality assurance.
• Oversee daily quality performance indicators and drive fast action to resolve issues.
• Manage non-conformance containment and corrective actions (CAR, NCMR).
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why and quality tools.
• Conduct LPA audits and develop/optimize process control plans.
• Facilitate continuous improvement to reduce defects and support new product launches.

You should have strong experience in manufacturing quality assurance and customer quality support. Strong communication and teamwork skills is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead plant quality team for daily shop floor quality assurance.
• Lead daily quality performance indicator review, resolving issues through fast response actions.
• Responsible for managing non-conformance containment and corrective actions (CAR, NCMR).
• Lead problem identification, priority setting, 5W2H action plans.
• Lead root cause analysis problem solving applying 8D problem-solving, 5-Why analysis and quality tools.
• Conduct LPA audits with respect to standards, working with cross-functional team members.
• Lead the development, optimisation, and audit of process control plans.
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities to reduce potential defects.
• Participate in new product introduction Advanced Product Quality Planning and safe launch release.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree, with +10 years relevant experience.
• Skilled in advanced product quality planning (APQP) and quality tools; PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA.
• Experienced in problem solving and continuous improvement tools; 8D, 5-Why, DOE, Six Sigma.
• Strong practical experience, knowledge of manufacturing systems and process technologies.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
