Job summary

Build King Group, a leading Hong Kong construction group, seeks a senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of project finance and post contract quantity surveying duties. You will compile commercial accounts, monitor programmes, and advise on sub-contractor issues while helping maintain healthy cash flow for projects.

Candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying with 7+ years' experience, strong negotiation and English writing skills, and ideally MRICS/HKIS; NEC contract

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines.
• At least 7 years' relevant experience.
• Experience in re-measurement, valuing variations, cost control, contract administration, claims preparation and dealing with sub-contractors' accounts.
• MRICS or HKIS professional qualification will be added advantage.
• Practical experience in NEC Contract will be an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluent English and excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project finance.
• Handle post contract quantity surveying duties for the projects.
• Compile and update commercial accounts and records.
• Monitor the progress of related programmes.
• Provide recommendations on resolving issues with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Assist in maintaining positive cash flow for the projects.
• Perform duties as assigned by management of Build King Group.
