Job summary

Venturenix is partnering with a tier-one financial institution to recruit two Senior Project Managers – Data Centre/Infrastructure/Network migration. You will own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical data centre programs in a zero-downtime, highly regulated trading environment.

Responsibilities include governance, budgets, large-scale migrations, vendor and stakeholder management, and ensuring seamless cutovers on weekends while maintaining strict SLAs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT infrastructure project management in banking/financial services
• Delivery of large-scale data centre builds or migrations in high-availability environments
• Solid understanding of data centre physical infrastructure (UPS, HVAC, cabling) and enterprise hardware
• Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2; ITIL v4 or CDCP advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycles from business case to handover under strict change-control frameworks
• Oversee colocation fit-outs, server/storage/network migrations across hybrid environments
• Manage multi-million dollar CAPEX/OPEX budgets, drive RFPs, track hardware lead times, ensure SLAs
• Coordinate stakeholders across application owners, network engineers, facilities, and trading desks for zero-impact cutovers

Job description

We are exclusively partnering with a tier-one financial institution to recruit 2 experienced Senior Project Managers – Data Centre / Infrastructure / Network migration Infrastructure. This role owns the end-to-end delivery of mission-critical data centre programs—including colocation white-space fit-outs, large-scale migrations, legacy tech refreshes, and capacity expansions—within a zero-downtime, highly regulated trading and banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Governance & Execution: Lead full project lifecycles from business case and budgeting through execution, cutover, and operational handover under strict financial change-control frameworks.
• Builds & Migrations: Oversee colocation white-space fit-outs (power redundancy, cooling containment,structured cabling) and execute complex server, storage, and network migrations across hybrid environments.
• Commercial & Vendor Management: Manage multi-million dollar CAPEX/OPEX budgets, drive RFP processes, track hardware supply chain lead times, and hold third-party contractors and OEMs accountable to strict SLAs.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Align application owners, network engineers, facilities teams, and trading desks to orchestrate zero-impact cutover weekends and rollback plans.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of IT infrastructure project management, with proven experience within banking, capital markets, or financial services.
• Domain Track Record: Successful delivery of large-scale data centre builds, consolidations, or migration programs in high-availability, 24/7 environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of critical data centre physical infrastructure (UPS, HVAC, cabling standards), enterprise hardware (Cisco, Arista, Dell/HPE, SAN), and low-latency networking.
• Experiences in Huawei / Alibaba related technology would be preferred.
• Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 practitioner certification required; ITIL v4 or CDCP is highly advantageous.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
