Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited is seeking a Senior Site Delivery Manager to lead ground investigation, geotechnical and foundation works for a large housing/real estate organisation in Hong Kong. You will manage consultants and contractors, and drive safety, quality and on-time delivery from planning through handover.

Set site plans and resources, chair progress meetings, monitor programme and risks, and coordinate with utilities, authorities and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geotechnical/Civil/Structural/Building Engineering.
• 15–18+ years of construction/project management experience.
• Proven track record delivering geotechnical/G.I./foundation packages.
• Strong knowledge of HK statutory requirements and codes.
• Leadership and effective contractor/consultant management.
• Fluent English and Cantonese with solid reporting skills.

Job description

This role leads key site delivery packages-especially ground investigation, geotechnical and foundation works-for a large housing/real estate organisation. It manages consultants and contractors, maintains site governance, and ensures works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and to the required quality.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of G.I., geotechnical and foundation works from planning and mobilisation through handover and close-out.

Set site plans, resources and controls; chair progress/technical meetings and drive timely decisions.

Manage consultants and contractors to meet contract requirements, specifications and agreed methods.

Maintain strong quality control (inspections/testing, NCR follow-up) and complete handover/as-built records.

Monitor programme, risks and site/technical issues; implement mitigation and recovery actions.

Coordinate internal teams, utilities, authorities and other interfaces to resolve constraints and secure approvals.

Ensure safety, environmental performance and compliance with statutory and client requirements.

Support commercial/site administration (e.g., progress measurement, input to variations/claims) with the commercial team.

Lead, coach and assess site staff and key subcontractors; promote a strong safety and quality culture.

Provide clear progress, risk and issue reporting to senior management.

Requirements

Degree in Geotechnical/Civil/Structural/Building Engineering (or related); professional qualification preferred (e.g., HKIE/CIOB/HKICM or equivalent).

Substantial construction/project management experience (typically 15-18+ years), including leading major geotechnical/G.I./foundation packages.

Proven record delivering multiple projects through investigation/design coordination, construction and handover (ideally residential).

Strong knowledge of Hong Kong statutory requirements and relevant codes/standards; solid technical understanding of foundation works.

Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills; effective contractor/consultant management.

Good English and Cantonese, with strong reporting and documentation skills.
