Job summary

Macdonald & Company Limited is seeking a (Senior) Project Manager based in Macau to lead engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring delivery against objectives. You will oversee schedules, budgets, quality and client relations across Macau, Hong Kong and regional teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering consultancy, proven leadership of multidisciplinary projects, strong budgeting skills and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering projects from planning through execution and completion, ensuring delivery against objectives.
• Oversee project schedules, manpower, budgets, quality standards and overall commercial performance.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are effectively managed.
• Identify opportunities for repeat assignments, additional services and new project opportunities with existing clients.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, fee quotations, tender submissions and client presentations.
• Coordinate technical and project resources across the Macau, Hong Kong and regional teams to support efficient project execution.
• Monitor project scope, variations, risks and commercial issues, taking appropriate action where required.
• Support the recruitment, coaching and professional development of project team members.
• Participate in project reviews, coordination meetings and key client discussions.
• Promote effective collaboration between different disciplines and offices throughout the project lifecycle.
