Senior Project Manager - China Hospitality

Lead hotel project development across new builds, asset enhancements, and Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) projects for a global hospitality brand. Oversee all aspects of hotel project delivery from initial concept and business case through design development, construction oversight, and final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of hotel project delivery — from initial concept and business case through design development, construction oversight, and final handover
• Direct and review architectural concepts and interior design packages to ensure adherence to brand identity, guest experience, and operational efficiency
• Manage complex project budgets including capital expenditure planning, cash flow forecasting, and value engineering to optimise ROI
• Lead procurement and tendering for consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors; negotiate and administer contracts
• Act as primary liaison between the company, property owners, and key stakeholders throughout all phases of development
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, planning regulations, fire and life safety standards across all jurisdictions

About you

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years' experience managing complex construction or hospitality development projects
• Proven experience in high-end hospitality design or luxury hotel development
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and project management tools
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• International travel required; ability to navigate diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes
