About this Employer

A renowned client originated in Hong Kong with a vibrant working culture and excellent reputation in developing luxury mixed-use complex with 5-star hotels across Hong Kong, China and Asia Pacific Region is looking for a Design Director to act as a Design Leader to lead and manage the interior design packages from conception, design development, execution to handover of the hospitality related projects, particularly the upcoming F&B portfolio from Michelin Star to Casual Dining and luxury resort development projects .

Responsibility:

Develop fascinating, creative design concepts and strategy for all upcoming brands by leading the design team and external consultants throughout the whole design process of restaurant concept development with dedicated consideration of the current market trend, competition, market research, supply chain and brands portfolio management.

As a Design Leader to lead the interior design directions and creative inputs on hospitality related projects, such as F&B & luxury resort projects. Integrate innovative elements from conceptual stage, design development, design management, F&B brief, operational model, cuisine types, kitchen design etc to cater to the needs of the target customers.

Oversee the design process, FF&E, compliance, scheduling and interface with internal stakeholders to develop design theme, spaces planning and finishes.

Work closely with consultancies, commercial, MEP, project managers and construction team for construction documentation.

Requirement:

Bachelor in Architecture, Interior Design or Fine Arts related discipline.

Registered Architect or certified Interior Designer preferred but not essential.

At least 12 years working in renowned design firms and client side as an experienced design manager with focus on hospitality and F&B design.

Familiar with luxury resort design or high-end F&B design experience from fine-dining restaurants by Michelin Star to Casual Dining.

Creative designer with gained knowledge on current design trend and passion in building up a good reputation for leading-edge, futuristic and innovative design.

Artistic with strong design sense as well as passionate in achieving the highest possible standards of deliverables.

Excellent in communication and stakeholders management.

Proficient in design software & tools in production and review of design documentation.

For less experienced candidate will be considered as Senior Design Manager.
