Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking Site Engineer / Senior Engineer / Construction Manager to oversee program delivery on major building projects in Asia. You will manage budgets, schedules and risk, aligning cross-functional teams to common project goals.

You will lead subcontractor selection, client meetings and ensure SHEQ leadership across the team. Degree in engineering and extensive Asia project experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 25+ years of relevant experience in building projects.
• Proven experience leading mega-scale building projects in Asia.
• Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for profitability, contracts and risk.
• Strong leadership and decision making; industry bodies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execution of program management, deadlines and budget management
• Reporting on progress against plan and cost, on risk and risk treatment plans
• Align goals, responsibilities and tasks of team-members across functions
• Assign targets across project parameters (revenue, profitability, milestones) and monitor to closure
• Devise strategy to identify and select sub-contractors/consultants/suppliers
• Conduct periodic client meetings on project progress and issues
• Demonstrate SHEQ leadership and team spirit
