Job summary

GreenTomato in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Product Designer to lead digital solutions from concept to end-to-end demo. You pair user-centered design with a product designer's mindset, guiding the life-cycle from concept to launch and iteration.

You will craft high-fidelity UI, visuals, and AI-powered prototypes, shaping vibes and art directions and presenting ideas confidently to stakeholders. A strong portfolio with AI prototyping is required. Proficiency in Chinese and English is expected.

• Acting as the design lead for the client project — owning the creative direction from concept through end-to-end digital demo.

Job description

As a Senior Product Designer you will be the design lead for digital solutions — taking it from a business insight to a polished, memorable experience. You will pair strong user-centered design instincts with a product designer's mindset: caring about business outcomes and the product's success, thinking across the whole product life-cycle, and knowing where to spend effort for the greatest impact. On top of that, you bring a creative, exploratory streak — questioning the flows others propose, shaping the art direction, and bringing concepts to life through AI-powered prototyping. In essence, you are the creative brain that makes the experience both usable and unforgettable in the user experience and visual presentation.

What you’ll be performing:

• Acting as the design lead for the client project — owning the creative direction from concept through end-to-end digital demo.
• Being the “fresh-eye” and “second brain” of the team, you question, pressure-test and grill the proposed flows — auditing, reviewing and adding UX value wherever users would feel friction and do good benefit to the business goal.
• Thinking like a product designer — taking ownership of business outcomes and the product's success, considering the full product life-cycle (from concept and launch through iteration and growth), and prioritising design effort by impact, so the team invests where it matters most and balances user needs with business goals and technical feasibility as the project success.
• Generating creative brand-experience ideas that are visually appealing and memorable — not just functional, but with a point of view, vivid visual impact and/or building up on all-rounded branding identity.
• Executing the interface and the overall experience: high-fidelity UI, conceptual visuals, and the visual effects that make a demo come alive and unforgettable.
• Bringing concepts to life through AI-powered multimedia prototyping — vibe-coding interactive UI prototypes, generating concept imagery, and producing demo videos with the latest AI models to make ideas tangible and easy to sell.
• Defining distinct vibes, tones and art directions for the experience, and presenting them to stakeholders with confidence.
• Telling a compelling story around the design — leading stakeholder and expectation management, presenting ideas, art direction and rationale, and making recommendations in response to feedback.

We are hiring talents like you:

• Have 5-8 years of work experience in IT, mobile application development, or creative agency.
• Are an AI-native thinker. You are curious about how AI is reshaping work and are eager to explore new tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude with a growth mindset.
• Possess a strong command of Chinese and English (written and verbal), with the ability to present confidently to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Are creative, with a talent for digital-experience ideas that feel visually appealing and memorable.
• Have solid experience in UX design with a well-established foundation in user-centered design (UCD), interaction design and visual design principles.
• Have a product designer's mindset — you care about business outcomes and the product's success, think across the whole product life-cycle, weigh user needs against business goals and feasibility, and prioritize your effort by impact rather than polishing everything equally.
• Demonstrate your creativity through multimedia — vibe-coding UI prototypes, generating conceptual visuals, and/or producing demo videos using the latest AI models.
• Have a strong sense for art directions — you can create and articulate different vibes, tones and looks to suit a brand or moment.
• You are highly proficient with AI design and prototyping tools (e.g. Claude code design and Figma make) and comfortable folding generative AI tools into your workflow.
• You can provide a design portfolio with proven work in AI prototyping.
• Bonus Points: Have experience with loyalty / membership programs, retail, or mall / shopping-centre digital solutions.
