Job summary

Balyasny Asset Management is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer focused on SRE/DevOps to design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD infrastructure for our engineering teams in Hong Kong.

You will champion observability, automation, and infrastructure as code across cloud (AWS) and on-prem environments, collaborating with portfolio management, technology, and data teams to deliver reliable, high-velocity software platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE/DevOps or platform engineering within distributed systems.
• Strong Python or GoLang software engineering skills.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy).
• Experience with critical artifacts infrastructure that serve millions of requests per day.
• Experience architecting scalable and reliable software/infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate deployment pipelines and operational processes.
• Champion SRE and DevOps best practices across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines; write code for infrastructure optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve service stability and scalability.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for production reliability.
