Job summary

HKEX is seeking a Senior Cloud Services Engineer for its Cloud Platform Services team. The role focuses on design, deployment, and ongoing operation support of cloud-based solutions across multiple teams to ensure stability, scalability and security.

The position requires senior SRE/DevOps experience, strong Terraform skills, and proficiency in Python/Go/Bash, plus hands-on use of Prometheus, Grafana or ELK. Kubernetes and CI/CD know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in AWS, Azure, GCP or China Brand Private Cloud in SRE/DevOps
• Terraform used for large-scale infra as code
• Python/Go/Bash for automation
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana or ELK
• Cloud networking and CIS compliance knowledge
• Familiar with AI-driven data analytics and anomaly detection
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Maintain platform stability and high availability across cloud environments
• Lead incident response and perform RCA for root causes
• Develop modular Terraform modules for standardized deployments
• Build automation scripts to reduce manual toil
• Create observability stacks for deep system health visibility
• Enforce CIS benchmarks with automated guardrails
• Optimize resource utilization using predictive scaling
