Job summary

Dtcpay is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud and Kubernetes foundations that support our engineering teams. You will create reliable, secure, and easy-to-use platform capabilities, from self-service tools to networking, observability, and incident response.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable software and help evolve the platform beyond DevSecOps.

Qualifications

5+ years in software, backend, infrastructure, or platform engineering with production systems experience.
Strong Go or Python skills for production software.
Hands-on Kubernetes and cloud infra in production.
Strong Linux and TCP/IP fundamentals.
Experience with CI/CD and IaC tools like Terraform.
Experience integrating security into engineering workflows (SAST, image scanning, secrets).
Product mindset to create usable platform tools.
Proficient in English and Mandarin for vendor engagement.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate cloud and Kubernetes platform capabilities (cluster provisioning, access control, cost governance, HA, DR).
Develop self-service platform tools (APIs, CLIs, operators) in Go or Python.
Improve delivery with IaC, GitOps (Argo CD/Flux), canary or blue-green deployments.
Integrate security into the lifecycle (scanning, signing, policy as code).
Design and troubleshoot networking and runtime components (CNI, DNS, TLS, load balancing).
Build observability (metrics, logs, traces, SLIs/alerts).
Collaborate with product and engineering to improve developer experience.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident reviews; mentor engineers.
