Job summary

Mace in Hong Kong is seeking a senior planning professional to drive programme certainty on a large-scale infrastructure project. You will apply advanced planning and scheduling methods, utilize EVM, and deliver clear insights to clients and teams.

You will lead a planning team, influence complex requirements, and manage carbon impacts in delivery, while operating in a flexible hybrid setup that supports collaboration and safety.

Job description

Position status: This opportunity is for a secured role that is due to commence in November subject to approval.

The project:

A large scale infrastructure programme involving complex civil, structural, and MEP works across multiple sites. The scope includes new town development, advanced technology facilities, and integrated transport systems, with emphasis on systems coordination, asset renewal, and long term operational resilience.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leads the application of advanced planning and scheduling methodologies to drive programme certainty.
• Applies strong planning, EVM and project controls expertise to inform decision‑making.
• Communicates insights and performance analysis clearly to clients, teams and stakeholders.
• Influences complex requirements and recommends effective corrective actions.
• Manages and develops a high‑performing planning team to deliver best‑practice outcomes.
• Contributes to net‑zero goals by proactively identifying and managing carbon impacts in delivery.

You’ll need to have:

• Strong written communication and up‑to‑date knowledge of schedule management tools and industry practices.
• Delivers service excellence with effective problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement.
• Experienced in planning techniques; degree in construction/engineering preferred, with additional local qualifications beneficial.
