Job summary

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) invites applications for an experienced Operations Executive to support exhibition contracting and on-site monitoring across our events. The role requires coordinating with exhibitors and contractors to ensure compliance with venue rules while delivering high-quality event operations.

You will input data in EBMS, consolidate requirements, issue contractor badges and vehicle passes, and be prepared for long hours and holidays under a fixed-term

• Experience in exhibition contracting or operations.
• Capable of delivering quality work within tight timeframes.
• Mature, articulate, independent and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor relevant info submission by booths’ exhibitors / contractors.
• Monitor contractor’s compliance with the rules and regulations.
• Handle collection and refund of site work deposit.
• Data input using EBMS.
• Consolidate requirement and issue contractor’s badge and vehicle pass.
• On‑site monitoring of outside booths decoration to adhere with the rules and regulations.
• Other duties to be assigned.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor relevant info submission by booths’ exhibitors / contractors
• Monitor contractor’s compliance with the rules and regulations
• Handle collection and refund of site work deposit
• Data input using EBMS
• Consolidate requirement and issue contractor’s badge and vehicle pass
• On‑site monitoring of outside booths decoration to adhere with the rules and regulations
• Other duties to be assigned

Requirements:

• Relevant solid experience in exhibition contracting or operation field
• Capable to work as a team to deliver quality work within tight timeframe
• Mature, articulate, independent and attentive to details & procedures
• Good problem solving skills
• Proficiency in MS applications & Chinese Word processing
• Willing to work long hours and on public holidays

Remarks:

Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Operation Executive.

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on fixed‑term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
