Job summary

Hong Kong Trade Development Council is seeking a University graduate to support project management for local, mainland and overseas trade promotional projects, including e-commerce initiatives.

You will recruit companies for online and offline events, prepare outreach materials, and help manage marketing plans. Strong English and Chinese, including Putonghua, plus MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• University graduate with experience in project management is preferred.
• Interest in data analysis and direct communication with customers is preferred.
• Prior experience in e-commerce and/or digital marketing in the Chinese Mainland is an advantage.
• Proactive, self-initiated, and attentive to details.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work OT upon request.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Project Executive.

• Prepare recruitment and promotional materials to support participant outreach and engagement
• Execute marketing, publicity and social media plans to maximise project exposure and impact
• Provide project management, clerical and logistics support, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide support on database management, data compilation and data entry into relevant systems
• Ensure smooth and timely execution of events and related activities
• Perform administrative duties including report preparation, records management and meeting coordination

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
