Job summary

Cathay Securities (Hong Kong) Limited seeks an experienced settlements professional to monitor CCASS and internal records, assist in settlements across equities, fixed income, OTC derivatives and structured products. You will process payments/receipts and prepare summary reports, while minimizing risks and handling escalated exceptions.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of hands-on experience, a finance-related degree, and strong PM skills.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in trade settlement operations.
• Good understanding of SFC and international regulations.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on CCASS and internal system records to ensure accurate and timely settlement
• Assist in settlements of Equities, Fixed Income, OTC Derivative and Structured Products
• Process settlement payments and receipts, and prepare summary reports
• Monitor and operate various settlement/clearing systems
• Minimize operational risks, prevent settlement failures, and handle complex escalated exception cases;
• Review and update standard operating procedures continuously to optimize workflow efficiency;
• Assist in carrying out various clerical functions among the team
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:
