Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong seeks a Manager/Assistant Manager to oversee the operating team and ensure accurate, timely processing of trading transactions in line with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

You will handle HK Equity Settlement via CCASS, monitor corporate actions for HK and US stocks, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and IT to ensure growth and resilience. Strong leadership and bilingual communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations management in financial industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with financial software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operating team to ensure all trading/ transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Hong Kong Equity Settlement: perform daily HK stock clearing and settlement via CCASS.
• Corporate Actions & Dividends: monitor and process actions for HK and US stocks.
• End-to-end financial operations: processing, enrollment, reconciliation, settlements.
• Proactively monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, handle exceptional cases.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, IT to support growth and resilience.
• Contribute to projects such as UAT, system migrations, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to team members.

Manager/ Assistant Manager

Job Descriptions

• Manage the operating team to ensure all trading/ transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner, strictly adhering to standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and guidelines
• Hong Kong Equity Settlement: Perform daily HK stock clearing and settlement procedures via CCASS, ensuring timely trade matching, fund allocation, and trade break resolution.
• Corporate Actions & Dividends: Monitor and process voluntary/mandatory corporate actions (e.g., stock splits, rights issues, tender offers) and entitlement distributions for HK and US stocks.
• Participant in end-to-end financial operations, including transaction processing, account enrollment, reconciliation, and settlements, ensure all instructions from clients are timely and efficiently executed in compliance
• Proactively monitor transaction workflows, identify bottlenecks, and handle exceptional cases to maintain operational excellence
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as Risk, Compliance, Finance, and IT to support business growth and operational resilience
• Contribute to key projects such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system migrations, and other strategic initiatives as assigned by senior management
• Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to team members
