Job summary

Eternity Consultants (HK) Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager for Audio/Lighting to lead mechanical design through concept, prototyping and production to ensure reliable, maintainable assemblies. You will prepare CAD drawings, manage OEM/ODM projects with overseas customers, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet critical milestones.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical design for consumer electronics, plastics, and small devices, with fluency in English and Chinese

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 year in mechanical design in headphone, audio, wireless OR Lighting in trading
• Extensive knowledge of plastic materials and experience in plastic injection.
• Solid knowledge and experience in small electronic device design.
• Expertise in using 3D CAD systems (Pro-E/SolidWorks preferred).
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the successful execution of crucial mechanical engineering processes throughout the product development cycle, including ID analysis, conceptualization and design, prototype formulation, and manufacturing processes.
• Design mechanical components and assemblies emphasizing reliability, and maintainability.
• Prepare, modify, and release CAD drawings to verify the mechanical design's fit, form, and function
• Handle OEM/ODM projects with overseas customers, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align project requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine the size and strength of components. Solve design problems and check computations, contributing to the analytical design.
• Interface with suppliers and subject matter experts to identify and address technical risks.
