Job summary

Eternity Consultants (HK) Ltd seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design across the product life cycle for headphone and wireless consumer electronics. You will craft reliable components, refine CAD drawings, and drive supplier/OEM coordination to meet milestones.

The role demands 8+ years in mechanical design, strong plastics and injection-mold knowledge, and proficiency in 3D CAD tools. English and Chinese fluency are essential for stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in mechanical design in headphone, audio, wireless consumer electronics.
• Extensive knowledge of plastic materials and injection molding.
• Solid knowledge of small electronic device design.
• Expertise in using 3D CAD systems (Pro-E/SolidWorks preferred).
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the successful execution of mechanical engineering processes across the product development cycle.
• Design mechanical components and assemblies emphasizing reliability and maintainability.
• Prepare, modify, and release CAD drawings to verify fit, form, and function.
• Handle OEM/ODM projects with overseas customers and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align project requirements and drive outcomes.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine size and strength of components and check computations.
• Interface with suppliers and subject matter experts to identify and address technical risks.

Job description

• Design mechanical components and assemblies emphasizing reliability, and maintainability.
• Prepare, modify, and release CAD drawings to verify the mechanical design’s fit, form, and function
• Handle OEM/ODM projects with overseas customers, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align project requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine the size and strength of components. Solve design problems and check computations, contributing to the analytical design.
• Interface with suppliers and subject matter experts to identify and address technical risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 year in mechanical design in headphone, audio, wireless consumer electroniic in trading
• Extensive knowledge of plastic materials and experience in plastic injection.
• Solid knowledge and experience in small electronic device design.
• Expertise in using 3D CAD systems (Pro-E/SolidWorks preferred).
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
