Ideal candidates hold an internationally recognized Chief Engineer License, 5+ years at sea, and 1–2 years shore experience. Strong English, meticulous reporting, and readiness for on-call duties are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold maritime education with an internationally recognized Chief Engineer License.
• Minimum 5 years seagoing experience, preferably as Chief Engineer.
• Minimum 1–2 years shore experience in ship management or owning company.
• Willing to travel regularly as required by duties.
• Attention to detail; diligent in reports and recommendations.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to be on call 24/7.

Aufgaben

• Direct and supervise a fleet of ships (dry bulkers and PCC experience preferred).
• Administer ship's planned maintenance program.
• Attend and supervise hull, machinery, electrical repairs, drydock and class surveys.
• Supervise new buildings and attend sea trials.
• Write detailed attendance reports with photos and sketches.
