Job summary

Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Manager, VAS and Partnership to lead the value-added services strategy and partnerships. You will drive channel propositions, coordinate go-to-market plans and manage end-to-end VAS lifecycles.

You will engage senior stakeholders, design innovative propositions, and ensure governance, compliance and performance monitoring across local and global teams, with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ relevant experience in life insurance product development, innovation or strategy.
• Experience in partnership negotiations (reinsurer, brokers, tech providers).
• University degree in Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Strong presence with senior stakeholders, able to communicate with senior management.
• Proven track record launching innovative VAS and propositions in HK/GBA, end-to-ownership from concept.
• Ability to work independently and manage BAU while progressing multiple projects.
• Experience with global product/business management teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, communication, PM and analytical skills.
• Team management experience with leadership skills preferred.
• Ownership mindset to ensure efficient customer service processes.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the channel proposition strategy across products, segments and initiatives to achieve targets.
• Drive customer-led innovation by identifying, designing and launching valued-added services (VAS).
• Lead go-to-market execution for new/enhanced VAS, including positioning and launch planning.
• Own end-to-end VAS lifecycle management from concept through launch and retirement.
• Ensure governance and regulatory compliance across local and global stakeholders.
• Monitor VAS performance and customer value using MI and feedback.
