FWD Group, a leading life and health insurer in Asia, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Partnership Operations QA and Governance. You will oversee 1.5 Lines of Defense, drive control enhancements and coordinate with Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit. Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

You will guide due diligence, licensing, conduct risk, and premium financing controls, while delivering governance reports and remediation progress to senior management.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Law, Compliance or related disciplines.
• Experience in life insurance, financial services, operations, quality assurance, compliance, risk management, audit or governance functions.
• Proven people management experience with coaching and development.
• Strong understanding of governance, internal controls and regulatory expectations.
• Experience in regulatory inspection preparation, audit coordination and remediation.
• Knowledge of partnership due diligence, licensing, conduct risk and premium financing controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English and Chinese.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Quality Assurance and Governance function for Partnership Operations with 1.5 Line of Defense oversight.
• Coach and develop team members for day-to-day operations, QA reviews and issue tracking.
• Assess control design and effectiveness, identify gaps, document root causes and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Financial Crime, and Internal Audit for reviews and remediation.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and external reviews with readiness planning and evidence validation.
• Review business arrangements with external parties for terms and control requirements.
• Oversee remediation actions and track ownership, timelines and closure evidence.
• Prepare governance and QA reports and management summaries for oversight.
• Drive policy, SOP, and control improvements for governance discipline.
