Job summary

Eclipse Trading is seeking an Electronic Trading Risk Control Manager/Senior Manager to lead the risk governance of electronic trading at our Hong Kong hub. You will design, monitor and enhance controls across trading platforms, ensuring compliance with HK SFC rules and exchange requirements while partnering with Technology and Compliance.

The role covers HK, with growing focus on Mainland China and Australia, and offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with a discretionary bonus and a flat

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in electronic trading controls and risk governance.
Knowledge of trading flows, execution algorithms, and market abuse scenarios.
Familiarity with Hong Kong SFC rules and exchange rules.

Responsibilities

Support the electronic trading governance and control framework.
Review trading systems and connectivity for control gaps and regulatory risks.
Evaluate new trading initiatives to embed proper controls into workflows.
Assess market misconduct and regulatory risks in new strategies and tools.
Coordinate regulatory changes (e.g. HKIDR-DM, T+1).
Prepare responses to electronic trading system queries from external parties.
