Job summary

Eclipse Trading in Hong Kong is seeking an Electronic Trading Risk Control Manager / Senior Manager to join our Risk team. You will oversee the design, monitoring, and effectiveness of trading controls across our Hong Kong operations.

You will collaborate with senior management to embed regulatory obligations into technology controls, review algorithms and connectivity, and ensure controls meet both regulatory and internal standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electronic trading controls, operational risk, front office business control or governance.
• Strong knowledge of electronic trading systems, controls and surveillance concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management within a regulated trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, monitoring and effectiveness of electronic trading controls.
• Challenge new initiatives and ensure controls are embedded into technology and workflows.
• Review trading systems, algorithms and exchange connectivity for control gaps and regulatory risks.
• Coordinate regulatory changes and respond to external inquiries from Prime Brokers, Exchanges and regulators.
• Develop metrics, dashboards and exception reporting to support oversight of trading activities.
