Job summary

Hong Kong Trade Development Council invites a dynamic marketing professional to lead design and marketing services sector campaigns, including conferences and exhibitions, across local and international markets.

You will develop event programmes, drive business development with exhibitors and sponsors, manage budgets and liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery while adapting to a fast-changing business landscape.

Qualifications

• A university degree with at least 10 years of experience in sales/marketing, exhibitions or project management.
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong’s economy, trade and business arena.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese, including Putonghua; third language an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-minded with good project management ability.
• Outgoing and culturally aware; able to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver HKTDC design, marketing and creative industry projects, including conferences and exhibitions.
• Develop and curate event programmes and content strategies for relevance and engagement.
• Drive business development by recruiting exhibitors, sponsors and buyers for exhibitions and conferences.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and agencies for smooth delivery.
• Oversee event logistics, venue planning and schedules.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of curated zones.
• Monitor budgets, timelines and resources for cost control.
• Arrange and manage Business Matching Meetings and networking events.
• Perform other project-related and administrative duties.
