Job summary

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) seeks a dynamic, high-calibre Business Development professional to join our team. Reporting to the Section Head, you will act as project manager for assigned projects and drive exhibitor recruitment across local and international markets.

With a university degree and 10+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related fields, you will liaise with associations, coordinate with global agents, and deliver strong revenue results while providing

Qualifications

• A recognised university degree with at least 10 years’ solid working experience, preferably with sizeable organisations, in sales/marketing, exhibition/event organisation, project management, public/corporate relations, or network building.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute exhibitor recruitment locally and internationally to meet sales targets.
• Liaise with local and overseas trade associations, organisers and co-organisers on exhibition projects.
• Coordinate with worldwide sales agents to drive exhibitor recruitment efforts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry players to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Expand and enhance exhibitions by recruiting quality exhibitors and promoting new products.
• Conduct sales and promotional activities such as briefing sessions and roadshows when needed.
• Provide professional, high-quality customer service to exhibitors and stakeholders.
