Job summary

Aptitude Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a leading high-frequency trading client. The role focuses on building and maintaining low-latency network infrastructure to support rapid trade execution.

You will design high-performance networks, monitor performance, resolve outages, and implement robust security. Strong Linux, IP networking, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Network Engineer in finance or trading environments.
• Strong focus on low-latency networking and hands-on device configuration.
• Solid Linux engineering and administration knowledge.
• Deep understanding of IP concepts and kernel bypass is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance network architectures for rapid data transmission and trade execution.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for efficiency and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues to maintain uninterrupted trading operations.
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive trading data.
• Collaborate with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and traders to align network solutions with business needs.
