Job summary

Chong Hing Bank Limited seeks a senior professional to supervise the Loan Documentation and Loan Administration teams across retail, corporate, and syndicated loans in Hong Kong.

You will coordinate with internal units and external solicitors to resolve complex credit structures and ensure the end-to-end loan process complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in checker or supervisory capacity.
• Hands-on experience in verifying intricate corporate loan documents and end-to-end loan administration (drawdown, rollover, collateral maintenance).
• Solid understanding of banking laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.
• Familiarity with non-standard loan agreements; knowledge of SWIFT, CCRA, CRA, T24 is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Head in supervising the Loan Documentation and Loan Administration teams across retail, corporate, and syndicated loans.
• Coordinate with internal units and external parties to resolve complex credit documentation and loan-related issues.
• Ensure daily workflows, including security documentation vetting and loan processing, comply with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Review guidelines, procedures, and templates to align with latest market practices and regulatory updates.
• Mentor and motivate team members; handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.
