Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking a Loan Documentation Officer to prepare loan and security documents and liaise with lawyers and clients in relation to corporate and project lending.

The role requires a degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business Admin, 2-3 years’ loan documentation experience, and knowledge of banking operations and related laws. Strong bilingual communication in Chinese and English is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or above majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• 2-3 years’ experience in loan documentation in finance institutes or corporate banking.
• Sound knowledge of banking operations and related laws and regulatory requirements.
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks under tight schedule.
• Good communication and presentation skills in Chinese and English; Mandarin is advantageous.
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for checker role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan and security documents per corporate/project loan application terms.
• Liaise with relevant parties or lawyers for terms and execution of loan documents.
• Provide consultancy services to relevant parties.
• Handle clients’ requests and inquiries regarding loan documentation or operations; negotiate credit terms with clients.
