Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) in Hong Kong seeks a senior Platform Engineer to own the APAC regional Linux estate and trading infrastructure. You will drive automation, implement tooling, and ensure high performance and security across the region.

You will collaborate with global platform engineering to align regional solutions with worldwide standards, while representing APAC interests in roadmaps and design decisions. Strong Linux, Ansible, Python, and observability skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux knowledge, preferably RedHat, with experience building and administering trading platforms.
• Extensive experience with automation/configuration management systems; Ansible experience preferred.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Solid programming skills in Python and Bash. C/C++ is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as APAC regional platform engineering representative, aligning regional needs with global roadmaps.
• Lead automation initiatives and ensure scalable, high-performance Linux estate for trading platforms.
• Collaborate closely with global platform engineering and local infrastructure teams.
• Provide in-region engineering coverage during local market hours and incident response.
