Job summary

Ambition, a leading investment group in Hong Kong, seeks an expert Linux Administrator to lead IT infrastructure work and automation initiatives. The role requires extensive Linux experience, strong problem-solving skills, and weekend availability for server setup and testing.

You will collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable IT solutions while maintaining rigorous documentation and project milestones. This is a senior, on-site position in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
Proficient in Linux OS configuration, troubleshooting, and security measures.
Availability to work weekends for server setup and testing.
Strong team player with a desire for career advancement in a competitive industry.

Responsibilities

Manage IT infrastructure projects, as well as internal process automation and improvement
Collaborate with application teams to implement IT solutions effectively.
Engage with stakeholders to plan and execute projects.
Adhere to the project timeline to meet all milestones and deadlines.
Prepare project and technical documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and test reports.
Implement and manage automation tools and processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
