Michael Page on behalf of a large statutory organization in Hong Kong seeks a Senior IT Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing across software, hardware, cloud services and IT‑related categories. You will develop category strategies to drive cost efficiencies and risk mitigation, and manage competitive tendering exercises.

You will lead commercial negotiations with global tech vendors, build partnerships with business, technology, finance, legal and risk stakeholders, and drive supplier

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing or category management experience.
• Strong experience in technology procurement including software licensing, infrastructure, cloud, telecoms or IT services.
• Proven track record leading complex sourcing projects and commercial negotiations.
• Fluent English communication; Cantonese/Mandarin advantageous.

Responsabilités

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities across technology-related categories including software, hardware, telecommunications, cloud services, cybersecurity, and professional services.
• Develop and execute category strategies to deliver cost efficiencies, value creation, and risk mitigation.
• Manage competitive tendering exercises, including RFI, RFQ and RFP processes.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with global technology vendors and service providers.
• Build strong partnerships with business, technology, finance, legal and risk stakeholders.
• Drive supplier performance management through governance frameworks, KPI tracking and ongoing relationship management.
• Provide procurement expertise on large-scale transformation, infrastructure and digital initiatives.
• Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with internal governance, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize demand, improve commercial outcomes and enhance procurement processes.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree qualified in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Technology or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing or category management experience.
• Strong experience in technology procurement, including software licensing, infrastructure, cloud, telecoms or IT services.
• Proven track record leading complex sourcing projects and commercial negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with exposure to senior business leaders.
• Experience working within financial services, regulated industries, telecommunications, technology or large multinational corporations will be highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and contract management expertise.
• Fluent English communication skills; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be advantageous.
