Job summary

Ambition seeks a senior technology leader to drive strategy and governance of its Cloud and Workplace Technology across APAC, with focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Power Platform. You will shape cloud transformation, modern workplace adoption, and AI-enabled solutions, while ensuring security, compliance, and operational stability across the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders across Hong Kong and APAC to define and execute technology strategy.

An international financial institution is seeking a senior technology leader to drive the strategy, governance, and operational management of its Cloud and Workplace Technology estate across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud & Workplace Technology across APAC, covering Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform and modern workplace services.
• Drive cloud transformation, workplace modernisation, and adoption of Microsoft technologies, including Copilot and AI-related solutions.
• Own platform governance, operational stability, security, and compliance across the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Manage infrastructure and workplace technology projects, vendors, and managed service providers.
• Lead and develop regional engineering/support teams and act as a senior escalation point for critical issues.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders across Hong Kong and APAC to define and execute technology strategy.

Requirements

• 12+ years of technology experience with 6-8+ years in leadership or management roles.
• Strong background in Financial Services, Investment Banking, or other regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Cloud Infrastructure, and Workplace Technologies.
• Experience delivering cloud transformation, digital workplace, and Microsoft platform initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management experience across APAC.
• Proven leadership of technical teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Copilot, AI governance, and cloud security is highly desirable.
• Mandarin language skills are advantageous.
