Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. in Hong Kong seeks a senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and installation of technology infrastructure for its electronic trading business. You will deliver a new infrastructure build in market-facing facilities, covering low-latency hardware, telecom circuits and infrastructure cabling.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role. You will own delivery and partner with Engineering, but you will not manage a team.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of technology project management experience, with strong, proven banking industry experience.
• A track record of leading large-scale network transformation, migration and infrastructure projects within financial institutions
• Experience with Cisco and Arista hardware and with partnering with vendors on installation
• Experience with data center builds, network integrations or refreshes, or office build-outs and relocations
• Understanding of cabling and cable management
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint and ServiceNow
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Confident communicator who can work in a high-pressure environment across multiple projects
• Able to work Friday evenings and Saturdays during the installation phase

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and track deliverables for business unit requests
• Manage delivery across internal teams and third-party contractors and consultants
• Gather technology requirements and partner with Engineering and Operations on high-level design
• Develop, track and coordinate the project schedule, and manage the issue log
• Procure hardware and manage vendor deliveries, delays and staging
• Raise and manage Technology Change Management tickets
• Provide weekly status reports, internally and externally
• Schedule UAT testers and BAU sign-offs
