Job Description

• Support the strategic design, standards, and roadmap for the evaluation of the bank's infrastructure platforms.
• Transform manual operational tasks into a highly efficient and automated infrastructure ecosystem using on-premises, hybrid private cloud, or multi-cloud solutions.
• Participate actively in the evaluation of products, services, and vendors to improve infrastructure operations.
• Provide expert advice on critical emerging application and infrastructure technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Develop infrastructure technology platform strategies and roadmaps to meet capability and capacity requirements for business growth.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to define architecture standards based on industry best practices for a scalable and high-performance environment.
• Conduct architecture reviews and root cause analysis for complex issues while developing strategies for security, governance, and disaster recovery.
• Utilize Machine Learning, Generative AI, and AI agents to assist and enhance platform operations.
• Review and validate infrastructure solutions for complex or non-standard configurations proposed by various project teams.
• Oversee infrastructure-related tasks for overseas branches in accordance with the established IT support strategy.
• Ensure all duties are carried out with high integrity and comply with applicable regulations, codes, and banking standards.
• Adhere to established risk control guidelines and procedures to identify, assess, and monitor risks in daily work.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in Information Technology, specifically within the financial services sector in Hong Kong.
• Proven expertise in infrastructure and cloud architecture, including private cloud, Azure, AWS, Google, and Alibaba Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of Microservices such as OpenShift, K8S, EKS, or GKE, as well as storage, databases, and network WAN/LAN design.
• Proficiency across a broad range of infrastructure technologies including servers, endpoints, middleware, and virtualization tools.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to solve complex architectural challenges.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Professional certification as a CISSP or CISA is highly preferred.
• Exceptional command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus for Greater Bay Area integration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-cloud environments and implement consistent deployment strategies.
