Job summary

Precious Blood Hospital (Caritas) seeks an Infection Control Manager to lead infection control programs and provide evidence-based advice. The role requires coordinating with service providers, supervising nursing staff, and overseeing research, audits, and investigations within the hospital.

You will organize workshops and lectures, consolidate statistics, and report on infection control progress, while demonstrating strong leadership and bilingual communication in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and registration with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• Post-graduate certificate or specialized training in Infection Control is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years post-registration experience, with 2 years in a supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing infection control programmes and improve plans for designated groups.
• Establish and maintain communication with other service providers.
• Handle inquiries on infection control issues.
• Manage and supervise nursing and supporting staff.
• Manage research, clinical trials and investigations within the hospital.
• Organize workshops, seminars and lectures for the hospital.
