Job summary

Precious Blood Hospital (Caritas) seeks an Infection Control Manager to lead infection control programs and provide evidence-based advice. The role requires coordinating with service providers, supervising nursing staff, and overseeing research, audits, and investigations within the hospital.

You will organize workshops and lectures, consolidate statistics, and report on infection control progress, while demonstrating strong leadership and bilingual communication in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and registration with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• Post-graduate certificate or specialized training in Infection Control is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years post-registration experience, with 2 years in a supervisory position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and implementation of infection control programmes, provide professional support and evidence‑based infection control advice, and formulate relevant infection control improvement plans for designated groups;
• Establish and maintain communication / liaison with other service providers;
• Handle enquiries on infection control issue;
• Manage and supervise nursing and supporting staff;
• Manage research, clinical trials, and investigations conducted within the hospital;
• Organize workshops, seminars, and lectures for the hospital;
• Coordinate, review, and consolidate relevant statistical statements and reports; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Nursing;
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a valid practising certificate;
• Post‑graduate certificate or specialized training in Infection Control is highly preferred;
• At least 5 years of post‑registration experience, of which at least 2 years in a supervisory position and preferably with dedicated experience in infection control management;
• Good leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills;
• Energetic, committed, and proactive, with a high level of integrity;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
