Job summary

Hong Kong Jockey Club seeks a senior IT operations professional to manage planning and oversee IT activities within the Charities and Community Department. You will liaise with the central Corporate IT team to ensure IT needs meet policy standards and support cross-sector collaboration with government, NGOs and partners.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership experience with English and Chinese written communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in project and event management or marketing.
• At least 5 years at managerial level.
• Experience managing large-scale or complex projects with multiple partners.
• Strong project management skills and cross-sector stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate overall planning and oversee IT operations within the Charities and Community Department.
• Serve as liaison between the department and the central Corporate IT team, aligning with IT strategies and policies.
• Define IT requirements for project initiatives in line with IT standards.
• Facilitate development of project plans, management processes and tools for risk management and compliance, procurement and logistics, and ICT use.
• Provide input to define and maintain project management standards across ICT projects.
• Make recommendations to assure project quality and alignment with objectives and timelines.
• Identify methodologies, guidelines, and tools to manage projects effectively.
• Supervise SPOR Use of ICT members and develop staff capabilities.
• Carry out other duties as directed by Head of Charities and Executive Director of Charities and Community.
