Job summary

Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer to join the Sports Business Division. The role focuses on creating and designing content for the Club, ideating concepts and producing information and videos across its platforms.

About the Role

The role sits within the Sports Business Division, which focuses on sustainable growth of the Club’s sports business, deepening customer engagement and positioning the Club as a leading global sports and entertainment brand. The job holder creates and designs work for the Club, including ideating content and producing information and videos across its various platforms. The role involves developing and executing communication materials and following assigned projects from concept and layout through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication materials related to HKJC across the full range of internal and external channels.
• Follow assigned projects from concept and layout through to production.
• Work with cross-divisional business units to generate original and outstanding design to the brief and on brand.
• Provide operational support to manage digital assets.
• Conduct video streaming of various programmes relating to the Club's business.
• Research industry trends, emerging technologies, competitors and best practices to enhance multimedia content.
• Ensure and maintain high standards of visual and functional accuracy for published content.
• Support the development of operation manuals.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in graphic design, advertising or related disciplines.
• At least 7 years' experience in the branding, graphic design or advertising industry.
• Strong creative and design sense.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Digital and printing knowledge.
• Detail-minded communication and problem-solving skills.
• Multi-tasking ability.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a team player in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of both Mac and PC.
• Proficiency in using Mac Adobe CC software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.).
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
