Job summary

Julius Baer in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned FX & Precious Metals Specialist to drive revenues through innovative FX strategies and customised hedging solutions for UHNW clients. You will ensure fast, accurate FX execution, manage risk, and provide market insights to DACs while collaborating with Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors.

The role requires deep FX product knowledge, strong client advisory skills, and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of FX sales, trading, or advisory experience in private banking or wealth management.
• Experience with UHNW clients and cross-border requirements.
• Strong knowledge of cash FX, OTC derivatives, precious metals and structured notes.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end FX product management from ideation to pricing and lifecycle.
• Provide proactive FX advisory services with market insights and tailored trading strategies.
• Ensure timely quoting and execution of FX orders while managing operational risk.
• Present market ideas in Morning Meetings and group head meetings.
• Conduct market updates and educational sessions for Relationship Managers and Advisors.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors and product teams to tailor offerings.
